iGracias News: Update fitur password tipe strong dan autentikasi 2 langkah
IGracias Continuous Improvement continues to be done, with the addition of security features that have now been made namely the use of strong type passwords and 2-step authentication.
1. Strong type password.
This strong type of password feature is presented to meet the security of iGracias users, who are now connected to a variety of third party applications.
The strong password types are as follows:
- It must consist of at least 8 characters
- Maximum of 12 characters
- Has a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters
- Has a number between 0 to 9
- Have special characters or symbols. list of allowed symbols! @ $ * {} “
- Cannot contain a username
This strong type of iGracias password data impacts the entire Single Sign On (SSO) system that is already connected to iGracias, including CeLOE, TUNE, OpenLibrary, Repository, Office365, GAFE (Google Apps For Education), Blog, E-Learning, dan CampusLife.

Announcement to change the strong password will appear on iGracias from the date of 9 September 2019.
2. 2-Step Authentication.
This 2-step authentication feature adds a security feature to enter iGracias that was previously available, namely through sending tokens via SMS / Whatsapp (specifically for employees). For this 2-step authentication feature is more reliable and easily controlled by each iGracias account owner compared to sending tokens via SMS / Whatsapp.
This 2-step authentication security can be used by all employees and students who have access to iGracias.

3. How To Forgot Password iGracias
For iGracias account holders if they have forgotten their password when after changing the password to a strong type, they can follow the instructions on the following web page https://rnd.is.telkomuniversity.ac.id/forgot-password/
It is highly recommended that all iGracias account owners immediately change their password to a strong type, and activate the 2-step authentication feature. If you have questions and complaints about Information Technology (IT) services within Telkom University, please submit via ticket on helpdesk

1. Password tipe Strong.
Fitur password tipe strong ini dihadirkan untuk memenuhi keamanan pengguna iGracias, yang kini telah banyak terkoneksi dengan berbagai aplikasi pihak ketiga
Kategori password tipe strong yaitu sebagai berikut:
- Minimal terdiri dari 8 karakter
- Maksimal 12 karakter
- Memiliki kombinasi huruf besar dan huruf kecil
- Memiliki angka antara 0 s.d 9
- Memiliki karakter khusus atau simbol. daftar simbol yang diperbolehkan !@$*{}”
- Tidak boleh mengandung username
Data password iGracias tipe strong ini berdampak pada seluruh sistem Single Sign On (SSO) yang sudah terkoneksi dengan iGracias, termasuk CeLOE, TUNE, OpenLibrary, Repository, Office365, GAFE (Google Apps For Education), Blog, E-Learning, dan CampusLife.

Pengumuman untuk mengubah password tipe strong bagi yang belum akan timbul di iGracias mulai tanggal 9 September 2019.
2. Autentikasi 2 langkah.
Fitur autentikasi 2 langkah ini menambahkan fitur keamanan untuk masuk ke iGracias yang sebelumnya telah tersedia yaitu melalui pengiriman token lewat SMS/Whatsapp (khusus bagi pegawai). Untuk fitur autentikasi 2 langkah ini lebih handal dan mudah dikendalikan oleh masing-masing pemilik akun iGracias dibandingkan dengan pengiriman token lewat SMS/Whatsapp.
Keamanan autentikasi 2 langkah ini dapat dipergunakan oleh seluruh pegawai dan mahasiswa yang telah memiliki akses ke iGracias.

3. Petunjuk Lupa Password iGracias
Bagi pemilik akun iGracias apabila mengalami lupa password saat setelah mengganti passwordnya menjadi tipe strong, dapat mengikuti petunjuk pada halaman web berikut ini https://rnd.is.telkomuniversity.ac.id/forgot-password/
Sangat direkomendasikan agar seluruh pemilik akun iGracias segera mengganti passwordnya menjadi tipe strong, serta mengaktifkan fitur autentikasi 2 langkah.
