About Directorate of Information Technology Center, Telkom University
The Directorate of Information Technology Center, abbreviated as PuTI, is under the Vice Rector for Field Two (see Telkom University organizational structure). Serves to support the institution’s business processes according to Telkom University’s vision and mission through Information Technology services.
In order to support Information Technology services at Telkom University, the PuTI Directorate divides the division of services into 3, namely:
- Information Technology Product Development Division
- Responsible for developing information systems and technology for university stakeholders, involved in the ICT development team for information technology and system development blueprints. Analyze and compile work programs and activities for developing applications and information systems as strategic tools for optimizing university performance.
- Information Technology Infrastructure Division
- Responsible for the management and development of IT infrastructure and security.
- Information Technology Research & Services Division
- This section aims to coordinate, organize and examine the standard management process information technology quality of the Directorate of Information Technology Center on an ongoing basis in accordance with internal and external quality assurance standards to increase the effectiveness of quality assurance
Directorate of Information Technology Center, service request process and IT incidents can be resolved
thoroughly in accordance with the SLA (Service Level Agreement) and management of feedback from services, research on University Information Technology needs both in terms of hardware and software,
manage all resources and performance of the university’s webometric ranking
responsibility of the Directorate of Information Technology Center.

Notes from the Director of PuTI
In order to support Telkom University’s target to become a World Class University (WCU), the Directorate of Information Technology Center (PuTI) functions as an “enabler” that provides a means of supporting the achievement of WCU in the field of Information Technology.
In addition, PuTI is committed to gradually moving towards a customer focus from the previous operational focus. If previously PuTI’s focus was on smooth operations, the PuTI Directorate will gradually begin to focus on customer satisfaction within Telkom University, without forgetting the smooth operation of IT services. Thus, it is hoped that PuTI’s service level can improve and be even better.
