Before a programmer creates an application it is important to draw up a scenario diagram. Use Case Diagram<\/strong><\/a> is a technique for developing software. <\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This diagram will show the relationship between the user and the system that has been designed. <\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the term, use case diagrams are<\/strong> activities that are interrelated with actors and systems. In general, it is defined as a technique that aims to develop software. <\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, use case diagrams<\/strong> help determine the functional requirements of a system. This definition describes the relationship between the user and the system being designed. <\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are several functions of the use case<\/strong> , including: <\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first function of a use case diagram is<\/strong> to introduce the initial phase of each activity in a system being developed.  <\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Describe the Business Process\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, this diagram depicts the sequence of business processes, thereby preventing errors. <\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Main Components of Use Case Diagrams\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There are three components in the use case diagram, namely: <\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Actor\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The first component is the actor. An actor is anything outside the system that uses system components. <\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Examples of actors, such as humans or devices that have a role in system operations. <\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

System\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The next component in the use case is<\/strong> the system. This component states the boundaries of the system in the relationships carried out by actors.  <\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Use cases\u00a0\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, the use case is the final component as a general description of the function of a system. So, users and consumers can know every function of a system. <\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Example of Use Case Diagram\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Previously, you had to create a diagram based on the written narrative, such as: <\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Identify who will use the website. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Select one of the users from the website. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Determines who users will act on the site. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Arrange a series of normal activities when using the website. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    The following will explain an example of a use case diagram<\/strong> to facilitate understanding in developing software system requirements by analyzing: <\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Educators see the attendance report. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Can manage teacher data. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      • Manage student data <\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Educators print report results. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Manage user data. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
