The Directorate of Telkom University Information Technology Center has organized a Power BI Workshop in the Auditorium Room, 16th Floor, TULT Building, Telkom University Campus. This workshop aims to help participants understand how to integrate Power BI with RESTful API to create innovative and automated solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Power BI Workshop Material Presentation Session<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The first session, “Getting Started with Power BI<\/em><\/strong>,” was delivered by Mr. Novi as the Service Lead of Crayon Indonesia<\/a>. In this session, participants were introduced to the basics of Power BI, its key features, and its benefits in data processing. Next, the second session, titled “Preparing Data in Power BI Desktop<\/em><\/strong>,” was led by Mr. Ahmad Fahmi from Microsoft. In this session, participants learned how to prepare data in Power BI Desktop, including connecting to various data sources and transforming data for use.

After the break, the workshop continued with the third session, titled “Design Data Model in Power BI,”<\/em><\/strong> again facilitated by Mr. Novi from Crayon. In this session, participants gained a deeper understanding of optimal data model design techniques in Power BI, including building relationships between tables and optimizing data model performance. The workshop concluded with the fourth session, “Create Reports and Dashboard in Power BI,”<\/em><\/strong> facilitated by Aditya MNS as Head of IT Research Affairs and Nur Jayanti as Head of One Data Affairs. In this final session, participants had the opportunity to practice creating interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Power BI Workshop Closing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The event ran smoothly and interactively, concluding with a Q&A session and hands-on practice guided by the facilitators. This workshop is expected to provide participants with new knowledge and insights into Power BI implementation in corporate environments, as well as enhance their ability to process and analyze data more effectively.
