Bandung, April 29, 2025<\/strong> \u2013 Telkom University, through its Center for Information Technology (PuTI), held the Tableau Analytics Fundamentals Workshop<\/em> at the Auditorium Room, 16th Floor, TULT Building, Telkom University. The workshop was organized in collaboration with Salesforce and SDK, featuring various sessions aimed at introducing and deepening participants’ understanding of data analysis using Tableau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event began with the singing of Indonesia\u2019s national anthem, Indonesia Raya, and the Telkom University March, followed by the opening & keynote<\/em> session delivered by the Director of PuTI, Mr. Rio Guntur Utomo, S.T., M.T., Ph.D. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of data analytics skills in the digital era and expressed hope that the event would enhance participants’ insights and abilities. The keynote session continued with Ms. Julia Daud, Salesforce Account Director, and Ms. Emma Sihotang, SDK Head of Sales, who shared their views on the role of data analytics in supporting business transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Token of Appreciation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

As a token of appreciation, PuTI presented souvenirs to the two keynote speakers as a symbol of gratitude for their participation and collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Event Implementation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The workshop was divided into three main sessions. The first session, titled \u201cIndustry Insights & Data Analytics Trends\u201d<\/strong>, was delivered by Mr. Edwin Irawan, Tableau Specialist from Salesforce. In this session, participants were introduced to current trends in the data analytics industry and how Tableau can serve as a powerful tool in supporting data-driven decision-making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second session, \u201cDemo: The Power of Tableau Analytics,\u201d<\/strong> was led by Mr. Andre Kristianto, Senior Analytics SE at Salesforce. Through a live demonstration, participants were guided to understand Tableau\u2019s features and how this application can efficiently support data visualization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The third session, \u201cHands-on Training,\u201d<\/strong> was facilitated by the SDK Learning Center team. Participants had the opportunity to directly try using Tableau through practical guidance provided by facilitators, allowing them to experience firsthand the benefits and ease of using this tool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop ran with enthusiasm and active interaction. The event concluded with a Q&A session and follow-up practice with the facilitators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through this workshop, it is hoped that participants gained applicable knowledge and will be able to implement Tableau in their work or research. Telkom University also hopes the collaboration with Salesforce and SDK will continue to strengthen digital literacy and analytical competencies within the academic community and industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
