Bandung, April 14, 2025 – Telkom Education Foundation has officially inaugurated Rio Guntur Utomo, S.T., M.T., Ph.D. as the new Director of the Center for Information Technology (PuTI). He replaces Prof. Dr. Dedy Rahman Wijaya, S.T., M.T., who has completed his term as Director of PuTI for the 2023–2025 period.
The handover ceremony took place on April 14, 2025, at the Damar Building, Telkom University. The event was attended by the university’s leadership, academic community, and staff of the PuTI Directorate as a form of support and appreciation for the previous leadership and a warm welcome to the new leadership.
We express our highest appreciation to Prof. Dr. DEDY RAHMAN WIJAYA, S.T., M.T. for his dedication, contributions, and service during his tenure as Director of PuTI. During his leadership, he initiated various strategic programs, including information security seminars and collaborations with industries to develop IT infrastructure on campus.
New Hope for PuTI
The PuTI Directorate plays a vital role in supporting the digitalization process and IT services within Telkom University. This leadership transition is expected to continue the innovations that have been started and bring more adaptive and progressive improvements to IT services.
The new leadership also opens opportunities to strengthen collaboration between the PuTI Directorate and various units within Telkom University as well as external partners. This aligns with the spirit of cross-sector collaboration and synergy as part of the university’s transformation strategy towards becoming a World Class University.
With renewed spirit, may the PuTI Directorate continue to be a driving force of IT innovation, provide the best services to the academic community, and support the digital acceleration of Telkom University in a sustainable manner.
