For S3 or Doctorate Degree Level Programs, Telkom university has a Doctorate Degree Level Informatics program . Doctoral degrees (S3) will be awarded to students who have an in-depth understanding of the related field and demonstrate the ability to conduct independent and original research that can be published in journals.
Telkom University Informatics Doctoral Study Program
Telkom University’s Informatics Doctoral Study Program has a research focus on two fields, namely: Data Science and Cyber-Physical System (CPS). Graduates of the Doctoral (S3) Informatics program at Telkom University will have the ability to conduct research (primary researchers) and develop scientific fields independently or join teams in research institutions, universities, or industry, and have leadership and management abilities.

Vision:
To become an innovative national and international reputable Doctoral study program in the development of science in the field of Informatics, especially Data Science and Cyber Physical System in 2026.
Mission:
- Organizing an international standard Doctoral program education in the field of Informatics, with a focus on Data Science and Cyber Physical Systems.
- Conducting research with a focus on the fields of Data Science and Cyber Physical Systems which are recognized at the international level.
- Providing useful solutions to society based on Informatics, especially in the fields of Data Science and Cyber Physical Systems.
Doctorate Degree Level Informatics Telkom Universityhave facilities that can support education in this field. The Faculty of Informatics has 15 research laboratories to support the research of lecturers and students, namely: Software Engineering, Information Science and Engineering, Mobile and Innovation, Technology Enhanced Learning Center, Computing, AI, Multimedia. Hardware and Embedded Systems, Network and Operating Systems, Forensics and Security, IoT Integration, Human Language Technology, Data Science, Modeling and Simulation, High Performance Computing. There are 7 main labs that support research activities in the field of Data Science and Cyber Physical Systems, namely the High Performance Computing (HPC) laboratory, Internet of Things (IoT) laboratory, Forensic and Security (Foresty) laboratory, Multimedia laboratory, Hardware and Embedded System laboratory.
