
Bandung, July 30, 2025 – The Directorate of Information Technology Center (PuTI) at Telkom University welcomed a visit from the Padang Health Polytechnic (Poltekkes Padang) as part of an IT system benchmarking activity, specifically focusing on servers and data centers. The visit was warmly received by the entire PuTI team, including the Director of PuTI, Rio Guntur Utomo, S.T., M.T., Ph.D.
Activity Focus: IT Infrastructure Benchmarking
This visit primarily focused on discussions regarding server management, data security, and data center development—key components of digital infrastructure in education. The team from Poltekkes Padang showed great enthusiasm in exploring technical insights from the systems implemented at Telkom University.
Welcoming Remarks and Information Exchange
The visit began with welcoming remarks from the PuTI Director, who expressed appreciation for this collaborative initiative and hopes for broader cooperation in the future. The discussion was lively, followed by a Q&A session, technical presentations, and experience sharing between the two institutions.
Site Tour to the Data Center
As part of the agenda, participants were invited to tour the server room and PuTI data center. Through this site tour, delegates witnessed firsthand how Telkom University manages its IT infrastructure, including monitoring systems, temperature control, and data security.
Poltekkes Padang Delegation
The delegation included Hafiz Maulana, Salman Muhibin, and Dean Deyopa as IT Staff; Fathya Febrina Faza from the Clinic and Lab Skills Unit; and Edwin Riharno as Account Manager from PT Telkom.
Hopes for Future Collaboration
Through this visit, PuTI Telkom University hopes to continue serving as a reference in IT infrastructure management in higher education. The synergy between educational institutions is expected to support inclusive and sustainable digital transformation across Indonesia.
