Bandung, November 4, 2025 — The Directorate of Information Technology Center (PuTI Telkom University) welcomed a visit from Politeknik Caltex Riau (PCR) to strengthen institutional relations and share best practices in the field of information technology. The visit was warmly received by Mr. Rio Guntur Utomo, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., the Director of PuTI, along with the structural officials of PuTI. The discussion during this visit focused on the Management and Development of Integrated Information Systems at Telkom University, which includes application development and IT infrastructure as part of the effort to achieve effective, efficient, and sustainable digital governance.
Politeknik Caltex Riau Delegates in Attendance
The delegation from Politeknik Caltex Riau who attended the visit consisted of Delza Biondy, S.Kom. (Head of Information Systems and Technology Division), Irwan Chandra, A.Md. (Head of Asset Management and Infrastructure Division), and Muhammad Arif Fadhly Ridha, S.Kom., M.T. (System Administrator). Their presence played an important role in expanding inter-university collaboration networks in the field of information technology.
Discussion on Integrated Information System Management
The main agenda of the Politeknik Caltex Riau visit to PuTI Telkom University included an in-depth discussion on the management and development of integrated information systems. The PuTI team shared their experiences regarding the implementation of an integrated academic system, streamlining data flow between units, and optimizing network and application infrastructure to support the performance of digital campus services.
Both parties also discussed technical challenges in developing integrated systems within higher education environments, such as data security, system interoperability, and improving information access speed with a user-oriented approach.
