Bandung, March 20, 2025 – Telkom University (Tel-U) has established a partnership with PT Cloud Hosting Indonesia (IDCloudHost) in an effort to develop information technology and institutional resources. This event was held in the VCon Room, 2nd Floor, Panambulai Building, Telkom University, with a series of activities that began with a prayer, continued with singing the song Indonesia Raya and Mars Telkom University. This activity is a form of synergy between education and industry in the form of a Server grant from IDCLoudhost to Telkom University.
Implementation of Activities
After the opening, the event continued with remarks from the Director of the Information Technology Center, Prof. Dr. Dedy Rahman Wijaya, who expressed his gratitude for the cooperation that has been established between Tel-U and IDCloudHost. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of synergy between educational institutions and industry in facing the increasingly rapid development of technology.
Furthermore, the President Director of PT Cloud Hosting Indonesia, Alfian Pamungkas Sakawiguna , also delivered his remarks. He expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to continue working with Telkom University and hoped that this collaboration could provide broader benefits, especially in the development of education and technology. On this occasion, IDCloudHost also brought a partner who is still an alumni of Telkom University, namely
Harland Firman Agus , CEO & Founder at Eresto, who is engaged in the Food Service Tech Builder field, who is also a grant recipient from IDCloudhost. Eresto’s business services also intersect with the hospitality study program at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, so it is possible for cooperation between Eresto and Telkom University in the future.
The event continued with a discussion session between the two parties regarding the implementation strategy of cooperation covering various aspects, such as increasing human resource capacity, optimizing digital infrastructure, and developing the latest technology-based curriculum. In this session, Puti and IDCloudHost also had the opportunity to convey questions and ideas regarding the potential for future collaboration. Also mentioned was the adoption of AI which will be developed at Telkom University, in accordance with the spirit of the Chancellor of Telkom University.
Signing of Cooperation Agreement and Server Grant
The main part of this event is a real manifestation of the Synergy of Education and Industry: IDCloudHost & Telkom University is the signing of a cooperation agreement between the two parties, which is then continued with the provision of a grant in the form of 1 unit of 4 node server with storage specifications of 2 x 1TB SAS, 2 x 2620 v4 Intel Xeon processors, and 256 GB of RAM.
Previously, there was a meeting between the Chancellor of Telkom University (Prof. Dr. Suyanto) and the CEO of IDCloudHost ( Facebook ), regarding the goodwill of IDCloudHost who wanted to provide servers to support information technology at Telkom University.
