Bandung, 25 November 2025 — The Directorate of Information Technology Center (PuTI Telkom University) welcomed a visit from the Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta. The visit was received directly by Rio Guntur Utomo, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., Director of PuTI, along with the structural team of PuTI. The discussion focused on the Management of Internet Services, Internal Network at Tel-U, and University Access Points as part of efforts to enhance the quality of digital infrastructure services in higher education institutions.

Delegation from Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta
The delegation from UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta consisted of Richie, Mahbub, and Ihsan as IT staff. Yenny from the Business Center Secretariat, Aisyah as PPK, and Hanum from the WR2 Secretariat were also present. Representatives from Telkom University (Account Manager), Tito and Amelia, joined the discussion session to provide insights related to network services and technical solutions.
Discussion on Internet Service Management
The first session discussed the internet service management implemented at Telkom University. The PuTI team explained bandwidth monitoring, access policy configuration, and traffic optimization. They also demonstrated how Tel-U maintains service stability to support daily academic and administrative needs.
Internal Network of Telkom University
The discussion continued with the internal network architecture used at Telkom University. PuTI explained the management of the network backbone, inter-unit network segmentation, and the monitoring of device performance through a centralized monitoring system. The UIN delegation expressed interest in how Tel-U ensures network availability across a large campus area.
University Access Points
The session included an exchange of insights regarding network management between the two institutions. Both parties discussed potential collaboration in optimizing campus network infrastructure as well as developing digital services that support academic activities.
Future Expectations
PuTI Telkom University hopes that this visit will pave the way for more intensive collaboration. Both institutions are expected to continue sharing knowledge, developing stronger network infrastructure, and enhancing digital service innovations within higher education environments.
