Bandung, 09 November 2025. The Directorate of the Center for Information Technology PuTI Telkom University directly welcomed the leadership of Universitas Prof. Dr. Hazairin, SH (Unihaz) Bengkulu. PuTI Director Rio Guntur Utomo, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., along with the PuTI structural team, received the delegation. The meeting discussed IT Infrastructure and Service Benchmarking to strengthen the quality of digital services in the higher education environment.
Delegation from Universitas Prof. Dr. Hazairin SH (Unihaz)
The Unihaz delegation consisted of H. Sazuatmo, S.T., M.T. as Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Ade Fitrah Putra Akhir, M.Kom as Vice Dean 1, Ade Titin Sumarni, M.Kom as Head of Information and Communication Technology, and Nopi Yeni, S.T. as Head of the PDPT Center. They visited to conduct a benchmarking session and exchange insights related to strengthening IT services.
IT Infrastructure Benchmarking
The infrastructure discussion covered Telkom University’s backbone network design, which uses a segmented architecture to maintain stable connectivity. The PuTI team explained bandwidth capacity management through a real time monitoring system. The delegation also learned about network security standards, including multi-layer firewalls and centralized access management. These explanations provided an overview of how Telkom University maintains optimal infrastructure performance across campus areas.
IT Service Benchmarking
The PuTI team presented the integration of academic information systems that connect student, lecturer, and administrative services on a single platform. The delegation observed the service ticket handling process through a digital helpdesk, which enables fast and measurable responses. The use of monitoring dashboards supports the IT team in maintaining system availability by performing regular service analysis.
Knowledge Exchange and Strengthening Collaboration
An active discussion took place about the strategies used to maintain sustainable IT services. The Unihaz team compared their processes with the practices implemented at Telkom University. This exchange opened opportunities for collaboration in research, development of IT service SOPs, and the creation of more standardized systems in both institutions.
